Weekly Off: Alternate Saturdays are off. 21 days of paid company leave (sick, personal, vacation inclusive) – only after a minimum 3 month probation period. The probation period may be extended depending on their performance. 10-14 government holidays are also provided in addition to the existing holidays. Leaves are not carried forward. You will be compensated at the end of the year for any balance leaves or extra working days. Similarly, any excess cosumption will be deducted on a pro rata basis.

Job Summary
As an Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers by providing technical expertise, problem-solving, and product recommendations. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and internal technical teams to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding product selection, application techniques, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct technical assessments and evaluations to identify customer needs and recommend suitable adhesive solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Product Development:
- Liaise with R&D teams to provide inputs for development of new adhesive products and formulations that meet specific customer requirements.
- Liaise with laboratories to conduct testing and analysis to evaluate product performance and optimize formulations.
- Participate in product launch activities, including technical documentation and training materials.
Customer Training:
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers on product usage, application techniques, and best practices.
- Conduct on-site visits to customers to provide hands-on training and support if necessary.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and business strategies.
Work Description
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer, Mechanical, B. Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of technical/engineering concepts
- Ability to grasp and understand technical details about customer’s application
- Proficient with reading, writing and speaking in English.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), GoogleDocs and Gmail.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions meticulously.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High energy level and excellent follow up skills.
- Creative problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Passion for learning and developing new skills.
- Flexible schedule.
- Maintain professional appearance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of adhesive chemistry, application techniques, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in a technical role within the adhesives industry.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design.
